Smart film from jackfruit seeds containing anthocyanin extract has potential application as a freshness indicator of fish they deteriorate, changing the color function product pH. The lower solubility percentage films was evidenced by volume. presented mean water vapour permeability values 3.034 g.mm/kPa.h.m2. starch/anthocyanin (ST4.0:AN5.0) showed higher tensile strength, while ST2.4:AN5.0 and ST3.0:AN5.3 resistance. Shrimp (SF10) negative b* grayish color. provides an alternative for convenient, non-destructive easy-to-view method, well informing consumers about quality packaged product. positive, suggesting use industry co-products developing smart food packaging.
